How important should price be?
When compared to other party related expenses, a mobile disc jockey is a bargain. The national estimated cost of a wedding reception is well over $20,000. Photographers can cost as much as $6,000; high-quality digital video $1800-$4000; your wedding cake $800-$1500, basic meal service (chicken) for 150 guests $9000; tax and gratuity another $2160. Don't forget flowers, invitations, dresses and tuxedo rentals, limos and even postage. Ask yourself this question, are we less than 10% responsible for the success of your reception? Is price important? Yes, it is. But no price is a good price if you do not like the quality of your entertainment! Appearance
All of our staff will be properly attired in basic black tuxedos unless otherwise told. We never display any type of promotional banner. We don't hang disco balls and spotlights or tacky little "Radio Shack" lighting rigs. All of our equipment is road cased to provide a neat, clean set-up and to protect it from undue wear and tear.
Reliability
No surprises on your wedding day! We arrive at least one hour before each event to begin our set-up. Backup equipment and staff are on standby should the need arise (in which case would be rare). We have performed everywhere from the area's finest establishments to your neighbors' back yards. No matter what size or style event, we promise you on-time, well-mannered professional service.
Privacy
We take great pride in maintaining professional standards. We guarantee that we will never invite anyone to "crash" your event to "check-out" our staff. If that is a condition insisted on before being hired, we will not work with that client. Many banquet halls forbid this practice. It is our policy to meet with clients on an individual basis or invite you to attend a bridal show and meet our entire staff.
Quality, Not Quantity
We keep a small staff for a reason, to ensure the quality of our professional entertainers. Would you prefer to be one of a small, select group, or an event number? We handle one event per day per entertainer, that's it. We don't double book our staff. They have one focus and responsibility on your wedding day, you and your guests. Plans and times can change; we want to be flexible enough to accommodate those changes. It is not fair to either client if a company double books an entertainer- what if the afternoon client requests overtime? Or if there are major traffic problems? Are you willing to take that risk?
Equipment
We maintain complete, state-of-the-art commercial sound
systems. Our music libraries are 100% compact disc media and each library
is updated monthly with the latest music. We bring over 30,000 titles to
every event which includes music from the Big Band Era to the latest national
airplay selections. We update our music monthly. We play from your pre-selected
request list which is then expertly programmed throughout the evening to
keep the dance floor alive and jumping. In addition, we have a large selection
of specialty ethnic music available. Ballroom, Latin, Italian, Irish & Classical
are just a few examples of the various types of music we are asked to provide
on a regular basis. Whether your event requires salsa and meringue, tango
and waltz, or just great dance classics, we will gladly assist you in choosing
your selections.
